Filter Your Plan

You can filter your plan for the information that is most important to you. You can access these filters in many views within AchieveIt.

Step 1: How filter your plans

A.   You will first you want to select the plan that you want to work on

B.   Click on the List view on the right hand side

C.   On the top you will see the filtering options


D.   On the top portion you can see 8 different field boxes and four check boxes to the bottom right


E.    You can filter by the ‘Item Title’ - such as a particular name of a plan card item


F.    The ‘Status’ field allows you to search by the status of the card items

G.   A lot of our clients use this field to search for items that are off track and at risk of not being complete in order to allocate their time and resources to fix any real time problems in order to achieve their goals


H.   The ‘Level’ field allows you to filter by levels

I.     A lot of times when you are reporting to the Board, they want to see the overall Department or Initiatives


J.   If you add any tags to your plan, you will be able to type in the tag name and all the tagged items will come up. For example, you filter out all card items that are high priority


K.   You have an option to focus on the items that start in the next 7 and/or 30 days or the last 7 and/or 30 days


L.    You can see the items that are due in the next 7 and/or 30 days or in the last 7 or 30 days


M.  The ‘Assigned To’ field allows you to search the items that belong to specific assigned to users

N.   This way you can see who is working on what items in this plan


O.   The ‘Members’ field allows you to search for specific members that are part of the card items in that plan


P.   Under the ‘Other Filters’ you have four more options, such as:

  • Show parking lot items
  • Show all supporting items of filter results (the supporting items )
  • Show only past due items
  • Show only items with late updates


Q.   Once you are done customizing your filters you can download the report


R.   The same filters are available to you in the Gantt View


S.   And they are also available in the Metric View


T.   The filters are also extremely useful in the Multi Plan View

U.   Navigate to plans tab at the top and select Multi Plan


V.   The few different filtering fields include the option to view all the plans or you can select several specific plans that you want to focus on

W.  Then you are able to ‘Save Your Current Search’ after picking your favorite filtered views, this way you can save time searching for the same plans and items


X.   Another filtering option for you under the multi plan view is the ‘Group By’ under the search results. You are able to filter by:

  • The assigned to users
  • The Plan
  • The Tag
  • Status
  • Level
  • Team and User members

Y.  Once you filtered the items that are the most important to you , you can download the report
