Past Due Items

Past Due Orange Pending Updates

You’ve made an update to your item, but it is still showing that pesky orange status light. It’s because you haven’t completed the item within the start and due date. The system still thinks that since the item is still in the active stage, that it needs to remind you to make an update until you mark that item with one of the completed stages: ‘Achieved,’ ‘Not Achieved’ or ‘Canceled.’

Step 1: How to remove the orange status light

A.   When you are in your My Dashboard, you will see all the items that are overdue, which will be flagged orange

B.  Click the name of the item that is overdue to direct you to the edit screen

C.   Once you are in card, you will see in the Item Timeline there are a few Pending Updates that are highlighted in orange

D.   Click the ‘Provide Update’ button

E.    You will be given the option to change the progress date, the status light, a comment and if you are tracking a metric, a field to update the metric unit

F.    The status light is critical in removing that orange light. You have to mark your item ‘Achieved,’ ‘Not Achieved’ or ‘Canceled’ in order to tell AchieveIt that you have completed your item in some way

G.   Once you have marked you item as ‘Achieved,’ ‘Not Achieved’ or ‘Canceled,’ you will no longer have the orange status light telling you the item is overdue and you will no longer receive email notifications for that item

NOTE: Once you have marked your item ‘Achieved,’ ‘Not Achieved’ or ‘Canceled,’ your timeline will indicate your most recent update. To get rid of any other orange highlighted fields in your timeline, click on the trashcan icon to delete past pending updates.
