All New: Reports

 

 

We are happy to announce the new Reports page. The new version features many significant enhancements and new capabilities designed to make it easier than ever to manage and customize your reports.

 

New Permissions

In the previous version, only the creator of a report could view and manage it. In the new version, we've introduced a brand new ability that allows users to view reports they are receiving, even if they did not create them.

New filtering options at the top of the page let users quickly toggle between different views:

  • Reports I've Created: Displays reports that the user has created.
  • Reports I'm Receiving: Displays reports that the user is scheduled to receive.
  • All Reports: Combines both of the above into a unified list of all reports the user has access to.

 

 

New Report States

To provide more flexibility and increase ease of use in managing your reports, we've introduced a series of new options. Reports can now:

  • Be Unscheduled: Create reports without scheduling them, allowing reports to exist 'on demand' in AchieveIt if needed
  • Be Paused:  Temporarily stop scheduled reports from sending. Resume sending reports at any time with the 'Unpause' option. 
  • Be Copied:  Copy reports in any state to quickly replicate their settings and content

New List Design & Filtering Options

The Reports page has a new, centralized list design that gives users at-a-glance visibility into all of their reports in one centralized location, with new filtering options and the ability to customize columns. We have also allowed new data about reports to be displayed in the list as additional column options, including: 

  • Created Date
  • Created By
  • Report Name
  • Report State

Report Names 

Reports will now require unique names, ensuring consistency with other content in AchieveIt (such as Plans and Custom Dashboards). Report Names make it easier to manage and identify reports, especially for users with access to a large number of reports across their organization.

 

New Create Report Workflow

The new Create workflow is a guided modal that allows users to create a report with just a few clicks. As users build their report of choice the modal will guide them through all the custom configuration options for each report type, making creating reports much more intuitive and easy in the new version.

Existing reports can now be easily edited directly from the list using the new ‘Edit’ option. This will take you back to the guided modal where you can make updates.

 

 

 

Additionally, two new options for downloading reports are available:

  • Download and Create: Download the report at the end of the new Create workflow as it is saved 
  • Download and Save: Download the report from the Edit workflow to review any changes made as it is saved
