Bulk actions for Custom Dashboards make it easy to manage multiple dashboards at once, allowing dashboard editors to quickly archive, delete, or update permissions directly from the Custom Dashboards page.
On the Custom Dashboards page, checkboxes will be visible next to dashboards you have editor access to. Select one or more dashboards by clicking the checkboxes to activate the bulk action buttons at the top of the list.
Note: If you only have viewer access for a specific dashboard, the checkbox will be disabled.
Bulk Edit Access
You can add or remove Viewers and Editors for multiple dashboards at once by clicking the 'Bulk Edit Access' button at the top of your list.
The Bulk Edit Access modal will open. Click the checkbox to activate the fields you'd like to edit. Click the 'Next' button once all your selections have been made to confirm your edits.
Note: Only one “Add” action can be selected at a time, as users cannot serve as both Editors and Viewers of a dashboard at one time.
On the Confirm tab, you'll see a summary of the changes you are about to make to your selected dashboards. Click the 'Update Access' button to complete your changes.
The Bulk Edit Access modal will close, and you’ll see a confirmation message in the bottom corner of your page letting you know your changes have been completed successfully.
Bulk Archive & Unarchive Dashboards
You can archive multiple dashboards at once by clicking the 'Bulk Archive' button at the top of the list while viewing Active or Favorite dashboards.
The Bulk Archive modal will open. Review the guidance messaging to understand the implications of archiving a dashboard. To confirm your change, click the Archive Dashboards button.
To unarchive multiple dashboards at once, filter your list to Archived and make selections. Click the 'Bulk Unarchive' button.
The Bulk Unarchive modal will open. Review the guidance messaging to understand the implications of unarchiving a dashboard. To confirm your change, click the 'Unarchive Dashboards' button.
Bulk Delete Dashboards
You can delete multiple dashboards at once by clicking the 'Bulk Delete' button at the top of your list.
The Bulk Delete modal will open. Review the guidance messaging to understand the implications of deleting dashboards. Click the Delete Dashboards button to complete your change.
Note: Deleting custom dashboards will delete the dashboard for all users in your organization, and cannot be undone.
