When a user downloads a dashboard or receives it as an email attachment via a scheduled report, the file is delivered in PDF format. Editors can customize how the dashboard appears in the PDF using a variety of settings located in the 'PDF Options' menu, enforcing consistency across dashboard downloads and ensuring a polished export file for reports.
Downloading a Dashboard
To download a dashboard in PDF format, click on the download button in the top right corner of the dashboard while in View Mode. Your PDF will be automatically downloaded. Both Viewers and Editors of a Custom Dashboard can download it from View Mode.

Dashboard Editors can configure additional settings for the PDF by clicking 'PDF Options' in the triple-dot Actions menu.

The PDF Options menu lets you control how your dashboard appears when it is downloaded in View Mode or sent as a scheduled report.

In the header, you can:
- Show / Hide your organization's logo
- Show / Hide the dashboard title
- If shown, you can also enter a Custom PDF Title instead of the dashboard title

- Show / Hide the timestamp
- If shown, you can format the timestamp
- Show / Hide the page counts
- If shown, you can format the page numbers

The Preview Window
As you make changes to the settings, you will see the preview on the right side of the window reflect those changes.
Whenever you are comfortable with the changes you have made, save them by clicking on the 'Save' button in the bottom right corner of the window. Click 'Cancel' at any time to exit without saving your changes.
