Making Progress Updates or Comments in Microsoft Teams

This feature is currently in Beta. This feature is available on certain AchieveIt plans. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.

Overview

On every notification type coming from AchieveIt, users will be able to make progress updates or comments if they have the correct access to the item.

Making a Progress Update in Microsoft Teams

A user can make a progress update by clicking the Progress Update button on a plan item notification. Doing so will make an entry into the item's timeline in AchieveIt. If the item is tracking a metric, users will be able to update the metric value along with the status update and any commentary they would like to add. They can see the current status as well as the last comment made on the item too.

Responding to a Progress Update Request

Users can respond to Progress Update Requests within Microsoft Teams. System generated requests as well as manually requested updates will be sent to Teams. These notification cards will display information such as who requested the update, the for period, the date it will be late after, and also any comments added on the manually requested updated.

Once the Update Request is satisfied, users can see an updated by name and the date it was updated on at the bottom of the notification card. The update progress button and comment button will also be removed from the notification so there is no confusion if the update had been satisfied or not.
