We're excited to announce a brand new way to share your AchieveIt dashboards: Public Dashboards. You can now generate a read-only, publicly accessible version of any Custom Dashboard. This is a huge win if you've ever needed to report out to stakeholders, constituents, or the general public who don't have (or need) a login to AchieveIt.
Publishing a Dashboard
Publishing a Dashboard is quick and easy. While viewing any custom dashboard, click into the Options menu and select the new Publish option. Then click Publish Dashboard to generate your public link. The public version is a view-only 'mirror image' of your Custom Dashboard's exact layout, ordering, and widget sizing.
You can easily keep track of which Custom Dashboards are currently active as Public Dashboards by looking for the new 'Public' badge which displays on both the Custom Dashboard list page and in the Custom Dashboard canvas.
You can also utilize the new 'Status' filter on the Custom Dashboard list to filter on dashboards that are currently Public.
Managing Public Dashboards
Once created, Public Dashboards are easy to manage inside AchieveIt. Need to temporarily take a Public Dashboard offline? Go back into the Public Dashboard menu and click 'Unpublish'. This immediately deactivates the link until you're ready for it to be active again.
When you Republish, you'll reactivate the original URL so that anywhere the link has already been embedded or bookmarked, your dashboard content will resume showing seamlessly.
