The Custom Dashboards page provides a centralized list to view and manage all the dashboards you've created or have access to in AchieveIt. Dashboards that you have editing rights to can also be edited, copied, and deleted right from the list. The page can be further customized with filtering and layout options.
Filter by Dashboard State
You can use the buttons at the top of the Custom Dashboards page to filter your list by dashboard state. There are three dashboard states:
- Favorites: users can select frequently used dashboards as Favorites, creating a personalized list for quick access. Favorites are unique to each user.
- Active: visible to any users with viewer or editor access. Active dashboards will display content when embedded outside of AchieveIt and will send scheduled reports to recipients when designated as a report source.
- Archived: visible only to users with editor access. When a dashboard is archived, embedded widgets will no longer display data and scheduled reports will stop sending.
The total number of dashboards in your current view is shown above the list, as well as a search field that allows you to find dashboards by keyword. You can create a new dashboard at any time by clicking the Create Dashboard button in the top-right corner.
Customize Your List
To customize the information displayed in your Custom Dashboards list, click the Column Layout button at the end of your column header row. This will open the Column Layout Modal.
- To add columns, click Add Column(s) and open a dropdown of available options. Select the columns you want to add, then click Done.
- To remove a column from display, click the X. Removed columns will return to the list of available options in the Add Column(s) dropdown.
- To reorder columns, drag and drop them into the desired order.
If a column has been frozen on the list display, a separator will appear in the modal. You can drag and drop this separator as well to adjust the freeze of columns in your list. Click Save to save your changes and exit the modal. Your changes will be immediately reflected in the Custom Dashboards list and remembered in future sessions. You can revert your list to the default settings at any time by clicking the Reset Default button in the Layout modal.
Managing Dashboards
For added convenience, you can take a variety of actions directly from the Custom Dashboards page—no need to open each dashboard individually. If you have editing access to a dashboard, you can archive, copy, or delete it by clicking the triple-dot Actions menu at the end of the dashboard’s row in the list.
You can also take bulk actions directly from the Custom Dashboards page. Checkboxes will appear next to each dashboard that you have editing access to. Once you select one or more dashboards, the bulk action icons will appear at the top of the page. You can take the following bulk actions from the Custom Dashboard page:
- Bulk Edit Access
- Bulk Archive
- Bulk Delete
